  21. Yes, bindnames and other assign utilities aren't really useful as long
  22. as they aren't officially supported. For the same reason I'd like to have
  23. python (or another nice language :-) as an alternative to ARexx.
  24. Of course, there are many ports of other script languages for AmigaDOS.
  25. The big difference is that Arexx ist the official language. I don't
  26. want to get rid of ARexx but I'd like to have the choice ...
  27. Maybe the ARexx IPC mechanisms could be made accessible to other
  28. languages? WIBNI every program with an ARexx port suddenly is compatible
  29. with our favorite script languages?
